Coastwide Child and Family Services are thrilled to be able to include offering primary school aged children supervision and learning at their school after regular school hours, in school holidays and on pupil free days. Out of School Hours (OOSH) services offer a valuable opportunity for children to access developmental play opportunities and encourage friendships beyond the classroom and across age groups. It also supports families to be able to work or study outside school hours. We have an open-door policy and you and your family are welcome to visit our Service at any time, you will need to sign our register of attendance.

Coastwide are a not for profit organisation with over 40 years of experience delivering quality educational outcomes for children, in Family Day Care and Supported playgroups. Coastwide is proud to integrate our philosophies into new services in the preschool and OOSH sector.

Our experienced Coastwide team of educators and facilitators bring their commitment to creating positive learning environments in all of our education and learning areas. 

Session start from $25, can be as little as $3 a session out of pocket in some circumstances. The Commonwealth Government provides assistance through the Child Care Subsidy to reduce the fees associated with child care, with eligibility and amount of financial support dependent on a range of factors. Our service caters to primary aged children and young people (5 to 12 years). We are open Monday to Friday for Before School Care during the school term: 6.30am to 8.30am and After School Care 3.00pm to 6.00pm.

At Coastwide OOSH, we proudly currently offer a vibrant service at Chertsey Primary School, and from Term 1 2025, we welcome Attunga, Holgate, Wyong Creek, Jilliby and Wyee Public Schools to the Coastwide family.

We provide breakfast (if required) and afternoon tea. Our food program is designed to include healthy choices, and some foods that can involve the children in the preparation if they would like. Our educators are able to assist with homework if required.

All staff hold valid Working with Children Checks/Cards and all Responsible Persons (placed in charge of the day-to-day running of the service) have current ACECQA approved First Aid, Emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications. Our staff promote the human rights, safety and wellbeing of all children and consider and respect the diverse backgrounds and needs of children. We create an environment that promotes and enables children and young people’s participation and is welcoming, culturally safe and inclusive for all children and their families.
