The Board of Management of Coastwide Child and Family Services Ltd are a team of dedicated and passionate industry professionals who each bring to their voluntary roles a unique and dynamic perspective.
Tim is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years professional experience in providing accounting and auditing services to the not-for-profit and for-profit sectors. Tim has held various leadership roles with both local and international organisations and is passionate about assisting not-for-profits in achieving their financial and organisational goals.
Tim is married with two adult children and two grandchildren.
Graham brings his incredible career history experiences as former school principal to the Coastwide board.
With his passion for equity and improving the quality of life for those in our community who are the most vulnerable, through effective, lifelong learning, Graham's knowledge and vision will further drive the strategies and leadership of the Board for Coastwides' ongoing success and community positioning.
Graham resides on the South Coast with his family, and we appreciate that he takes the time to come to the Central Coast for Coastwide meetings.
Fiona Toy, Chief Executive Officer of Coastwide Child and Family Services, brings a strong commitment to high-quality early childhood education and care, underpinned by the principles of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS). With a background in not-for-profit leadership and coaching, Fiona focuses on strengthening systems, governance and practice to support safe, inclusive and high-quality outcomes for children and families.
At Coastwide, Fiona recognises that quality is delivered through people. The organisation’s ability to meet and exceed NQS standards is a direct reflection of the dedication, skill and professionalism of its educators, coordinators, management and administrative teams. She is committed to ensuring these teams are supported with the capability, resources and leadership needed to deliver consistent, high-quality practice across all services.
Fiona works closely with the Board and leadership team to embed continuous improvement, strengthen safeguarding practices and ensure services remain responsive to the needs of children, families and communities. Her focus is on building a sustainable, future-focused organisation that continues to deliver trusted, community-based early childhood education and care.

Coastwide has an experienced and hardworking team of administrators supporting families and educators.
Mel’s calm and confident strengths are fully utilised as our Family Day Care Placement Officer, and Enrolment Officer for our Coastwide Preschool and Coastwide OOSH services. Her thorough understanding of what families are looking for is a result from her many years as both a Family Day Care parent and a Family Day Care Educator. Mel strives to find the right placement for each and every child, working closely with families and Educators to find to a perfect match. Mel has also been instrumental in our team onboarding a new system for our childcare centre and OOSH service.
Rochelle, our lead Administrator, thrives on a challenging and fast paced environment and welcomes the diversity each day brings. Her background and strengths in event management is a valuable addition to the team. Her understanding and knowledge of multiple areas of the business is second to none, she is always the first to assist our educators, and she never fails to add humour and perspective to busy work days!
Molly works closely with Mel and Rochelle in all things admin and accounts / debtors. Mollys sunny personality, organisational skills and her wealth of customer service and account management is a triple threat. Molly, we are thrilled to welcome you to the Coastwide team.

With a wealth of experience in the early childhood education and care sector and family support our Child and Family Services Support Team; Lisa, Vicki, Ashley Mandy and Tiffany, share a passion for quality outcomes for young children and their families.
As Family Support Team Leader, Lisa demonstrates her commitment to our family support programs; Supported Playgroups, MyTime and PlayConnect, in her every day in her interactions with children, families and her colleagues. Her extensive experience as a Family Day Care Coordinator and in Early Childhood Education and Care inform her strengths based, family centred practice, and allow her warm and engaging leadership style to shine. Lisa has a Diploma of Community Services, and Coastwide have had the pleasure of Lisa's guidance and expertise for nearly 16 years.
Ashley is passionate about ensuring all children have access to engaging and interesting play opportunities, as found throughout our programs. Ashley facilitates a weekly PlayConnect session for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder like characteristics, as well as a number of other supported playgroups. We are fortunate Ashley has joined the Coastwide family.
Vicki has worked with Coastwide in a multitude of capacities, for over 22 years, and believes it is a privilege to be able to work with children and see or hear a child smile or laugh every day. With her can do, calm approach, and her impeccable knowledge of all things Coastwide, not to mention incredible recall for policies and procedures, Vicki has been an integral part of Coastside's ongoing success and growth.
Tiffany is an intrinsic part of our child and family service support team and she brings a fresh perspective to everything she does. With previous experience as a Family Day Care Educator, Tiffany loves to embrace new ideas and she enjoys facilitating activities which cater to the individual needs of children and their families.
Mandy has been part of the Coastwide Child and Family Services Supported Playgroup team for over 15 years. Her love of the benefits of play and connection for children is the driving force behind her role, and the play sessions that she facilitates are warm, joyous and interactive.
With close to 100 Family Day Care Educators throughout Northern Sydney, Coastal NSW and the mid/central West, Coastside's Coordination Unit has some ground to cover.
The Family Day Care Coordination Unit team of Tamara, Tracy, Wendy, Jo and Tahlia bring guidance, support and training to their Family Day Care Educators.
Senior FDC Coordinator Tamara also brings experience in early childhood education as a Family Day Care Educator running two services before bringing her strategic talents to Coastwide. She is also the driving force of Coastwides RAP program and is the Educational Leader for the team.
Tracy leads her educators with her extensive career history of teaching, and the knowledge of running her own Family Day Care business. Tracys guidance is warm, organised and dedicated to bringing the best out of her team. Her commitment to building relationships with educators, children and their families, and her colleagues has been widely acknowledged. She is the mastermind behind Engaging Learning for the team of educators.
Wendy is our Regional Coordinator, and travels throughout country NSW to visit and support our wonderful team of Educators in the Mid-Central West of NSW. She is driven by positive connections and leads amazing virtual experiences and play sessions to connect our remote Educators and the wonderful children in their care. Wendy’s passion for Family Day Care is informed by over twenty five years of experience in the early childhood education and care sector. Her goal as Coordinator is to support Educators to be the best they can be. Wendy is also pioneering the development and rollout of regional Mobile Preschools as part of Coastwides expansion strategy.
Jo brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the early childhood education and care sector, as a former childcare centre owner and operator.
Tahlia brings her extensive Early Childhood experience a to life as our newest team member in our Family Day Care Coordination Unit, and we are thrilled to have her part of our Coordination Team.
With over 10 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, Coastwide Preschool Director Jessica Mason has had the privilege of working in a variety of roles including Room Leader, Family Day Care Coordinator, Educational Leader and Student Mentor at an RTO. These experiences have deepened her understanding of early learning and strengthened her passion for supporting children’s development.
Jessica is passionate about quality education and leads a dedicated team of educators at Kindiclub—Christine, Harmony, Evie and Meaghan—who create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment for the children in their care.
