Nola has been a Family Day Care Educator since 1989 and has a Diploma in Children’s Services. Nola has two adult children and a cat. Her service area is located in the lounge room and playroom, and there is a large backyard for outdoor play. Nola is enthusiastic, conscientious, organised and nurturing. Nola attends excursions regularly and transports children to and from school daily.
Tina has been an Early Child Care Educator since 2008 and returned to Family Day Care in 2012 after a short break. She has a Certificate III in Children’s Services.
Tina’s child care service is run between our seperate indoor playroom and our large outdoor area. It has purpose built play equipment including sandpit, fort, climbing wall along with vegetable gardens, chickens, grassed area and seating area with lots of shade and utilises natural resources and recycled items where possible. Tina has a separate fully approved bus with children’s restraints used for family daycare trips to playgroup, playsession, parks, other educators and for school drop off and pick ups.
She has two older sons that have grown up enjoying and sharing their home with many daycare children.
Tina is very nurturing and endeavours to provide a welcoming space for children to play and learn, a space where they feel they belong and feel safe. She is very flexible and has an holistic approach to the children’s total wellbeing.
She enjoys connecting with nature, gardening, caring for animals, recycling, being inclusive and embedding Aboriginal prospectives into our program.
